I’m 5’9”, size 36DD and 195 lbs. I’m usually a large in dresses and tops but the XL took a lot of effort to get the back to close. So if you have someone to help you lace it up, and can order 1-2 sizes up, it should work! The color is slightly darker in person. But the material is thick and quality and it’s sewn well.

The color is a light peach. Sizing is fine (small). The dress laces up the back with a large gusset so there is some flexibility. The corset tie (just a ribbon) isn't long enough, so I replaced that. Also the dress is longer in the back and will either drag as a train, but in true 1860s style it needs a crinoline with a bustle. I needed a Civil War era gown and this one fit the bill at a reasonable price.
